Under the 2026 rules, students appearing for Class 12 in 2026, or who had already passed Class 12 in 2025, were eligible for BITSAT-2026. Students who passed Class 12 in 2024 or earlier were not eligible. Candidates must appear for Class 12 for the first time in the eligible window (2025 or 2026, under 2026 rules), with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects — or may have completed Class 12 in the current year and be reappearing for improvement in specific subjects. In all cases, results/improvement results must be available by the admission-form submission deadline (2026: by 1 June, or 10 July for boards with delayed declarations such as NIOS). Candidates from the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) board must have completed the required subjects at the A Level. Attempting all questions is not mandatory. Choose whether to appear for "Only 1st Session" or "Both 1st and 2nd Sessions" (fee varies accordingly — see Section 17). Then select up to three preferred test cities in order — except for the Dubai centre, which allows only one preference and no other city options. There is no separate "declaration of result" date for BITSAT itself — the score is known to the candidate immediately after the test (see Section 11). Scholarships are awarded per semester and their continuation depends on the student's academic performance and needs each semester; there is no waiver on the admission fee itself. Where two or more candidates have the same BITSAT score, ties are resolved strictly in this order:दोन किंवा अधिक उमेदवारांचा BITSAT score समान असल्यास, ties खालील क्रमानेच सोडवले जातात:
